We were profoundly moved by the overwhelming support and love expressed through the turnout.
Over the past few years, the Father led Amy and me on a deeply personal journey to co-write a book that bears witness to how He has faithfully come through for us — individually, in our marriage, and as a family. This journey unfolded amid challenges, healing, and fresh revelation from the Father concerning marriages, families, and generational legacy. Out of this season was also birthed the Back to the Garden ministry, anchored in His heart for oneness and restoration.
Meaningful Day
It was therefore deeply meaningful that Back to the Garden: Journey into Oneness was officially released on 10 December, a date that coincided with our 30th wedding anniversary. The launch felt less like a milestone and more like a sacred moment of remembrance, thanksgiving, and alignment with what God has been unfolding over decades.
Walking Away from the Familiar
We must choose to obtain, grasp, and receive His peace. Like salvation, peace is a choice, not a demand.
The book launch was held at 8.00pm at Caelum Studio, Pico Creative Centre, and we were profoundly moved by the overwhelming support and love expressed through the turnout. The hall was fully filled, with friends and loved ones standing as we ran out of chairs — a sight that deeply touched our hearts.
What made the evening especially precious was the presence of family and long-standing relationships. Alongside Amy and me, our children — Emmanuel, Faith, Isaac, and Gracia — were present and actively helped in the event, making it a truly family-centred occasion. We were blessed to be joined by friends we have known for 20 to 30 years, as well as friends who travelled from overseas, including one from the United States.
The atmosphere was joyful and warm, extending far beyond a formal book launch. It became a time of reconnection, shared memories, and heartfelt conversations. In an unplanned yet beautiful way, the gathering itself testified to the very message of the book — one centred on family, relationships, reconciliation, and generational blessing.
We are deeply grateful for a team of dear friends who stood with us and served alongside us to make both the book and the launch possible. Our heartfelt thanks go to Julia, Irvin, Daniel, Shaun, Preston, Ashley, and Amanda, whose love, labour, and support were instrumental throughout this journey.
We were also humbled and encouraged by the response to the book itself — all the copies brought to the event were sold out by the end of the evening.
Above all, we give thanks to God for an evening where His name, faithfulness, and goodness were lifted up and glorified. We hold the deep assurance that this is not an ending, but a beginning — the start of many wonderful plans He has in store, not just for us, but for families and generations to come.
